Environmental degradation due to the human activities has become one of the serious issues that has been debated worldwide.
The concept of sustainable development requires organization to balance its social and environmental performance while pursuing its economic growth. In coping with dynamic challenges nowadays, organization shall capable in identifying risk from its activities, product and services.
Environmental Risk Assessment is a process for estimating the likelihood or probability of an adverse outcome event due to pressure or changes in environmental condition resulting from human activities. In aligned with new ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) which introduce risk based approach, organization is required to establish a comprehensive risk assessment that can be used to identify the environmental risk from its operation and therefore becomes as a baseline in developing EMS.
