KUALA LUMPUR: “The focus of SME and Entrepreneurs Business Awards (SEBA) 2019 is to introduce China Malaysia trade relationship which Tun Mahathir has started early of this year,” said Nitesh, chairman of Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia, MyPreneurship.

Memorandum of understanding signing ceremony and memento presentation had held yesterday at Palace of the Golden Horses between Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia, RAM Credit Information Sdn Bhd (RAMCI), Chang & Co Sdn Bhd, Malaysia Association of Professional Trainers & Coaches (MAPTeC), Xhale Asia (M) Sdn Bhd and GHHS Healthcare.

The fourth edition of SEBA 2019 will held on 8th November 2019 at the same venue, will have a particular focus on the wellness industry and is worth over USD 4.2 trillion (RM 13 trillion) globally and is being positioned as the fastest-growing sector in Malaysia with spending of RM 20.5 billion per anum.

”In terms of the gig economy, one of the focus seen by SEBA for the last couple of weeks after Dasar Keusahawanan Negara 2030 policy introduced,  is on the growth of various investors business between China and Malaysia, ” said Nitesh.

”The platform of SEBA this year is to show the world that there are successful entrepreneurs from China, in the facts one of the nominees have done extremely well and these people shows that there is a great interest of entrepreneurs are coming to Malaysia looking for opportunities, ” said Dato’ David Gurupatham, DGK Advocates & Solicitors Advisor Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia, MyPreneurship.

He added, ”SEBA’s platform is to showcase Malaysia to the world to encourage more investment and entrepreneurs to come into Malaysia to do more business and also for Malaysia entrepreneurs to go China to expand and explore the business, this probably the first time at this event.”
