Oud Essentials’ product range

Fragrance Du Bois and Oud Essentials have entered into a 15-year, rolling, exclusive supply and manufacturing agreement that further enhances the ethos of vertical integration that has become such a key component in an industry-leading business model.
Although relatively new to the multi-billion-dollar world of international perfumery, Fragrance Du Bois has garnered a legion of devotees in a very short space of time, and is now lending its considerable expertise to another original and distinctive brand that carries the same DNA: the desire to create innovative products for discerning, conscious consumers.
With initial production of its unique and ground-breaking products in Switzerland, the UK, Singapore and Malaysia, Oud Essentials will be taking delivery of US$8 million in merchandise in July 2017.
The brainchild of galenic pharmacist, Jean-Marc Dufat, Oud Essentials™ is now producing a range of skincare products and accessories that for the first time in history will contain 100% pure, organic, sustainably sourced and ethically produced Oud — the magical and mystical substance that lies at the very heart of Fragrance Du Bois’ signature creations.
Oud has been revered by countless cultures, civilisations and religions for millennia, and for the last five years, Fragrance Du Bois’ Scientific Advisory Board has been looking into its multifarious uses and efficacies. When, in 2015, Jean-Marc Dufat suggested a collaboration that would involve Oud being utilised in the world of skincare for the very first time, Fragrance Du Bois was delighted to put the full weight of its research and development resources in the UK, Singapore, France and Switzerland into evolving the new brand.

Oud Essentials’ range of products will include serums, and creams that are suitable for all skin conditions and all ages, and a revolutionary Dual-Phase Oil that combines the very best of aqueous and oil-based formulations for remarkable results. Oud itself has been proven to be rich in antioxidants that help in the process of anti-ageing, and in combination with other high-quality ingredients, the result has been a range of products that will set the world of skincare abuzz.
With known provenance and sustainability being indissoluble core values for both Fragrance Du Bois and Oud Essentials, the 15-year supply agreement between the two companies bodes well for the ever-expanding coterie of consumers who value superb quality products as much as they appreciate where they come from, as well as by whom and how they are made.
