The MGBF hosted a structured discussion with some of our Special Advisory Group members in an informal setting at the MST Golf Arena at The Gardens. The discussion was held ahead of the upcoming MGBF roundtable on “Designing the Future of the Digital Economy”. Salient points covered were:
1. The need for improved cyber security for investors

3. The fallout of the Russia-Ukraine war
4. A need for improved infrastructure especially 5G
5. Increased ASEAN integration
6. The role of RCEP and CPTPP in the digital economy
7. Potential areas for policy improvements
8. Regulatory gaps that need to be addressed by the current administration
9. The interconnectedness of the digital economy with the total media ecosystem
