Today in parliament, the issues on the number of business that had rolled out and new businesses registered between April until July 2020 was raised in Dewan Rakyat (House of Representative) sitting.

Cheras MP Tan Kok Wai ask the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs wanted to know the number of businesses that were shut down in April, May, June and July 2020, as well as the number of new businesses registered in the same period of time.

The number of registration of companies increase from April to July was mostly from e-commerce sector or online businesses as it was within the period of the Movement Control Order (MCO). Below is a video parliament session related to business rolled out and business registered.
